What was the initial appeal of Dream Drive?
One of the biggest reasons for working at Dream Drive is that each individual is driven by the desire to continually improve and embrace new ideas and approaches for better results. If someone has a new idea or a different way of doing things, we're quick to chat it out with the team and put it into action. We all share this mindset of never being content with the status quo, so we're always up for tackling new challenges.
At Dream Drive, we have a CNC router, and when I joined the company, I had no knowledge of CNC or 3D. However, I was taught everything from scratch, and now I can contribute to the tasks using CNC in the workflow process.
What made you decide to join Dream Drive?
I was drawn to apply for a position at Dream Drive because it offered the opportunity to combine my love for both the outdoors and creating things. After applying, I wanted to know more about the company so I did more research on Dream Drive's products on Instagram and YouTube to get a better understanding of the company. As I researched further, I felt a strong connection with the love for campervans and the mindset of creating something that brings joy to customers. This solidified my decision to join. During the interview, the team members provided a warm and detailed company overview, which left a lasting impression and ultimately convinced me to become a part of Dream Drive.
How do you feel about working at Dream Drive?
Manufacturing usually follows a predefined processes to produce predetermined products. However, at Dream Drive, things are different. The team affirms each other's ideas and opinions, and even a simple suggestion can lead to significant product improvements. The openness to incorporating such ideas fosters an environment that supports the growth of each individual at Dream Drive, which is one of its greatest strengths I believe. Additionally, I was impressed by the team's mutual respect and efficient collaboration, allowing us to work together seamlessly.
What is the most interesting aspect of your responsibilities?
One interesting aspect at Dream Drive is the ability to have discussions with the team to ensure smooth operations in the manufacturing department. We can make changes to the layout of the workspace, implement new systems such as schedule adjustments and progress tracking, all to enable the team to work more efficiently. In pursuit of enhancing the production process speed, I helped redesigned the daily reports, which we had not managed effectively before. This was particularly gratifying. It allowed us to visualize the efforts of the staff and their hard work, which was rewarding.
What are your future challenges?
We are currently focusing on improving our production speed every month, and we have been successful in achieving solid results. Moving forward, we aim for further improvements and will dedicate efforts to strengthen teamwork and create an environment where team members can enjoy product development and manufacturing with a sense of fulfillment. We are excited to take on new challenges and strive for continuous growth.
